Here are some commonly asked questions - and some answers to them!

Do I need to let Toybox know before I do any fundraising?

We would love to hear about an event you are going to hold so that we may help you prepare in anyway that we can. We can provide up-to-date literature and news about our current appeals, posters, sponsorship forms, gift aid envelopes etc. It is not essential that you tell us before an event but it may be beneficial for you to do so.

What will the money I raise do?

The money you raise will go towards the general work of Toybox - Internationally as well as helping with UK costs. However, if there is a specific appeal that you wish to raise money for please let us know and the money will be allocated accordingly. To find out about our current or upcoming appeals see the website or contact us at the office.

Is there a minimum amount of money that I have to raise?

No! Every amount, however small, helps towards our work.

What is the best way to send Toybox the money I raise?

There are a number of ways.

• Post a cheque to the office at Toybox, PO BOX 5967, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK3 6WD
• Donate via the website
• If you are raising for a specific event or sponsoring someone specific they may have a justgiving (www.justgiving.com) page set up for us.

I am based outside the UK, can I still raise money for Toybox?

Yes! However, when sending the money to us it is more beneficial for us to receive a cheque in pounds sterling or else some will be lost in bank charges. Alternatively you can send us the money as a donation via the website.

If I have done a fundraising event, can Toybox claim Gift Aid on the money rasied?

We are only able to claim gift aid if we have the details from each individual that gave money. If you write us a cheque from one account for money raised by many people we cannot claim gift aid. Therefore when raising money for us please ensure that sponsorship forms or gift aid envelopes are fully completed with each individuals address, not an office or church address.

This was a great event run by Jen Barnes up in Stockport. There was salsa dancing, an amazing raffle, great food and brilliant company. Jen managed to raise £800 for the street children in one night!
