Write to your child
Children love receiving news from their sponsors...
You could send a postcard, card or short letter to your Child Ambassador and their friends at the project (please do add the name of your Child Ambassador and their project to your correspondence). You could write about where you live, your friends and family, your interests or perhaps interesting customs and traditions. Anything you send will take about eight weeks to reach your child.
Letters in Spanish are great! Click on the link below for some useful Spanish phrases that you could use. But don’t worry, English is also fine. We have a team of volunteer translators who work for us in their spare time. You can write as often as you like.

What can I send with my letter?
We will gladly send on a photo with your postcard or something else light and flat that the children can share (stickers or a small poster). However, sometimes we receive things which are too heavy to send over - sending heavy parcels greatly increases our UK costs and, just like here in the UK, children can feel left out if substantial presents are sent to one child and not another. Please be assured that the project leaders make sure that each child feels special and loved on their birthday and receives something for their special day.
