Every now and then we all need to think about the future, and plan for events that might seem a long way off. Thinking about writing a will is not always easy, but it is important. The primary focus of a will should be your family and loved ones. But your will can also be an opportunity to remember the causes you have supported during your lifetime. By leaving a gift to Toybox you can continue to help the street children of Latin America.

Eight year old Diego was living in appalling squalor on the streets of Guatemala City - dirty and neglected, subject to all kinds of danger and without hope. And yet, Toybox was able to be a lifeline to Diego. He is now living in the safety of a home, with food, comfort, a new family, and hope for the future.

Looking at a picture of him now, you see a happy, ordinary little boy. We have only been able to achieve this thanks to the generosity of people like you.

I am sure that as a fellow supporter of Toybox, you share our joy in playing a part in such life-changing stories. Diego’s story says it all, but there are so many more children, in more places who need our help.

• £1,000 could support a high-risk team working to prevent children going onto the streets.
• £10,000 could rescue 130 children, like Diego, directly from the streets and give them hope for the future.

We have made it easy to leave a legacy to Toybox. Our special Angels in Waiting legacy pack talks you through the process of writing your will. The pack has been written with the help of a solicitor and contains simple forms to give to your own will-writer or solicitor. It lets you know how you can remember the street children in your will.
