Unlikely Angels charts a “typical” child’s journey from their home to the streets, before showing how at every stage, Toybox are battling to help and support as many of these children as possible.
Yet although the paths they tread may be typical, the children themselves are anything but. This small section of the website goes a little deeper behind the stunning photographs and heart-breaking quotes from the book.
Behind the Camera: Unlikely Angels photographer Becky Welford talks about her experience taking these photos, revealing some never before published photographs of children from the book.
