Toybox Partners

Toybox works in partnership with Viva, an international charity working with children at risk. Their Regional Centre in Latin America has been working with projects that help street children since 1997. Its experience and expertise is respected and admired by many governments, large charities and churches in the region.

Toybox International Partner

Millions of children around the world are growing up hungry, hurting, and without a home. Many people are responding to this need, yet they are often working alone, struggling to find enough staff, money, and time. Viva are all about helping those people work together, combining their efforts so that ultimately more children can be reached. If the projects join together in a network, and share their skills, their strengths, and their knowledge, they have a much better chance of effecting lasting change in the communities in which they work.

Viva have Regional Centres on 4 continents, and are working with 43 different networks of children’s projects, reaching over 1 million children worldwide. In Latin America their Regional Centre is supporting 36 networks, and working with more than 3000 projects and churches who rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate street kids. Toybox is involved with the networks in Guatemala, Bolivia, and Peru.

Viva ensure that the people and projects they work with are properly trained and well supported, so that the care they offer children is of the highest quality. Working in partnership with them means that Toybox is able to help even greater numbers of street children in a lasting way.

Red Alert is a way of strengthening and networking local organisations who reach out to and help street children which was developed by Viva and Toybox. Viva manages this work.

Consortium for Street Children

The Consortium for Street Children (UK) (CSC) consists of 59 UK based organisations, working in 89 countries, dedicated to the welfare and rights of street living and working children and children at risk of taking to street life. CSC member agencies support the work of projects in Latin America, Asia and Africa and increasingly in parts of Eastern Europe.

Micah Challenge

MICAH Challenge UK is a Christian movement aimed at promoting the Millennium Development Goals and getting the church in the UK involved. We can all be involved in MICAH Challenge as individuals, by signing the Micah Call and being champions within our churches.

Latin Link

Latin Link is an international community serving local churches throughout Latin America. The Latin Link passion is to live, teach and promote biblical Christianity, help meet identified needs, and develop short and long term mission initiatives to, from, and within the region. Global Campaign for Education

The Global Campaign for Education aims to promote education for all – a critical issue for so many of the children we work with. They are organising a big push around the world cup called 1GOAL in which a number of top footballing celebrities will be participating.
